Gun-wielding masked robber hits jewellery store in Damansara mall

KUALA LUMPUR: A masked robber has pulled off a heist at gunpoint at a jewellery store located in a mall in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya near here.

In the 5pm incident on Saturday (March 22), the man wearing a face mask and hoodie, pointed a pistol at employees before fleeing with jewellery in a car.

At the time of the incident, there was one customer and three employees in the shop.

Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Shahrulnizam Jaafar confirmed the incident when contacted by Bernama.

He said a press release regarding the incident would be issued soon. – Bernama
