Embrace discipline, integrity, and responsibility, Anwar tells youth

TUARAN: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged children and youth to embrace discipline, integrity, and responsibility while reminding leaders to serve the people diligently.

The Prime Minister said that these values foster harmony, political stability, and national development.

Anwar encouraged the youth to engage with technology and digital learning, particularly in an era shaped by artificial intelligence.

“For children and our youth, I hope after your Hari Raya holidays, you will return to school with a renewed spirit,” he added.

He highlighted the interest of companies like Microsoft in Malaysia and stressed the need for readiness to attract and retain such opportunities.

For leaders and workers, he urged dedication and adherence to responsibilities.

On his meeting with Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and state leaders prior to the state-level breaking of fast event here, he said it was important to note that matters involving infrastructure development and people’s welfare were prioritised.

“If we are able to focus on what is important for the state, nation and people, then our state and country will become great,” he said.

Anwar also commended Hajiji for his ability to stabilise and calm the state political scenario.

He expressed hope for continued unity among Sabah's diverse communities to ensure prosperity.
