Ismail Sabri returns to MACC to continue recording statement

PETALING JAYA: Former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, returned to continue the statement recording process at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Headquarters here on Friday.

A vehicle carrying the Bera MP was seen arriving at around 3:25pm, accompanied by police escorts, reports Sinar Harian.

Earlier, Ismail Sabri left the MACC building here after more than three hours of giving a statement to assist in the investigation of a corruption and money laundering case linked to him.

Ismail Sabri had previously declared his assets to MACC as part of the ongoing investigation process. The declaration was made on February 10, following an order from the commission.
