Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah breaks fast with Petra staff


PUTRAJAYA: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof today spent time breaking fast with the staff of the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Ministry (Petra) here.

Fadillah, who is also the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Ministry, arrived at the PETRA Tower around 6.30pm on Monday (March 10)and was received by his deputy Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir.

Also present was the Petra Chief Secretary, Datuk Mad Zaidi Mohd Karli.

Fadillah joined more than 50 ministry staff to listen to a Ramadan talk titled “Tired Here, Rest There” delivered by Senior Assistant Director of the Department of Islamic Development, Mohd Salman Idrus.

At the event, he presented cash donations and basic necessities to the Asyura Charity Care Centre as well as festive money from Petra's zakat representation to 36 orphans from the centre.

Fadillah also performed the Maghrib prayers with the congregation led by Mohd Salmam. – Bernama
