Bund collapse leaves 32 houses flooded in Banting


PETALING JAYA: A total of residents in 32 homes were affected as flood hits Taman Langat Utama, Bukit Changgang in Banting.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ashrul Riezal Asbar said water reached about three feet in the area at about 4am on Thursday (June 25).

"We advise residents to evacuate as soon as possible.

"Thankfully, most of them have left their homes when the water started to rise late last night," he said in a statement on Thursday.

He added that Bomba personnel are still monitoring the situation.
