Two cops among 55 nabbed in KL drug bust

KUALA LUMPUR: A raid by the Bukit Aman’s Integrity and Standards Compliance Department led to the arrest of a policeman and a police woman after an operation at an entertainment outlet here.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman confirmed the two were arrested during a raid on March 8 that saw a total of 19 women and 36 men aged 22 to 51 detained.

"From the checks performed, one man was found with 12.2g of ketamine and a woman was also found with 0.59g of Erimin 5 pills.

"Urine tests showed that 25 men and 17 women tested positive for drugs.

"The suspects that were found with drugs were not from the police force," he said.

Both the policeman and police woman were among those who tested positive for drugs.
