GEORGE TOWN: Penang has announced a half-month salary or minimum of RM1,000 as special Hari Raya financial aid for civil servants that will be paid from March 19 onwards.
In addition, a special aid of RM300 will also be given to supervisors, teachers and staff of Quran and Fardhu Ain Classes, religious primary schools, religious secondary schools, government-aided religious schools, tahfiz, pondok, Islamic kindergarten and Chinese private schools.
