Sultan Ibrahim arrives in Brunei for special visit


KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, is now in Bandar Seri Begawan for a special visit to Brunei.

According to a post on Sultan Ibrahim's official Facebook page, His Majesty was warmly received by the Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.

"The special aircraft carrying His Majesty arrived in Bandar Seri Begawan at 2.25pm Wednesday (Feb 26)," said a Bernama report.

"This special visit reflects the close and warm ties between the royal institutions of Malaysia and Brunei, which have been established for over 40 years.

"This bond continues to be strengthened through His Majesty's visit, symbolising the strong friendship and cooperation between both nations," the post stated.
