Health Ministry finalising proposal to revert to one-year housemanship

PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry is in the midst of finalising the proposal to revert the housemanship training period to one year.

In a statement on Monday (Feb 24), Health Director-General Datuk Dr Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan said the house officers training was increased to two years in 2008 due to an increase in medical graduates at that time.
