HONG KONG Cantopop group Twins’ Charlene Choi (pic) has allegedly rekindled her romance with wealthy ex-boyfriend Anthony Shek, China Press reported.

Choi reportedly broke up with Shek in August 2022 and shifted her focus entirely to her career.

The report stated that despite their renewed romance, Charlene remained cautious, given her past heartbreak and Shek’s status as a wealthy socialite with no shortage of admirers.

Unlike before, they are keeping a low profile. Asked recently if she was seeing someone, Charlene kept it vague, saying: “It’s a bit complicated.”

> The daily also reported that a 62-year-old woman from Nantong in Jiangsu, China, sued the management of a market where she slipped and fell on an onion slice, resulting in fractures, joint injuries and damaged teeth.

She demanded 200,000 yuan (RM122,000) in compensation for personal injury.

She was shopping at the market with her granddaughter when she stepped on the onion slice and fell.

After a court hearing, the judge ruled that the market had taken precautions and had cleaning staff working just minutes before the incident.

However, surveillance footage showed that the onion slice remained uncleared, indicating a lapse in the market’s cleaning management.

As a result, the court held the management liable for the injury.
