Brunei Sultan grants audience to visiting Musa Aman

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Tuan Yang Di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Musa Aman, was granted an audience with His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah at Istana Nurul Iman, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, on Thursday (Feb 13).

This marks Musa’s first official overseas visit since his appointment as Sabah Governor on Jan 1.

He was accompanied by wife Toh Puan Faridah Tussin; Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Ariffin Mohd Arif; Sabah State Speaker Datuk Seri Kadzim M Yahya and Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan.

Musa, who departed Kota Kinabalu International Airport Terminal 2 on Thursday morning (Feb 13), has shared a long-standing relationship with His Majesty since his tenure as Sabah Chief Minister.

Also present at the meeting were Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, and his wife, Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Sarah.

Following the audience, Tun Musa and Toh Puan attended a luncheon hosted by His Majesty the Sultan and Her Majesty, before returning to Kota Kinabalu, arriving at 3.20pm.
