Dead man found inside water storage tank on Pangkor Island


IPOH: A man was found dead inside a water storage tank of a fishing rig at Sungai Pinang Besar on Pangkor Island.

Manjung OCPD Asst Comm Hasbullah Abd Rahman said a report was lodged by a member of the public at 3.15pm on Tuesday (Feb 4) on the discovery of the body inside the tank of the P5 rig.

“His body was taken to the Seri Manjung Hospital for a post-mortem,” he said.

He urged those with information to go to the station or call Manjung police headquarters control centre at 05-6886222 or the WhatsApp hotline at 014-6828005.
