Rotating civil servants to tackle integrity issues, says Saifuddin

PUTRAJAYA: Rotating government servants’ stations at counter services will help address integrity issues.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, when met at the Asia International Security Summit and Expo 2025 (AISSE225) at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC), said that he welcomed the suggestion that was announced by Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar on Monday (Jan 20).

“At the Home Ministry level the system will be strengthened, especially for agencies that deal directly with the public such as the Immigration Department, National Registration Department and the police,” he said.

On Monday the Chief Secretary said that the Public Service Department will review and implement job rotations involving civil servants who have served at service counters for more than five years.
