Cops to question Pinkfish concert organisers

SUBANG JAYA: The police will question several individuals, including the organisers of the Pinkfish concert, for statements on Friday (Jan 3).

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat confirmed the investigation when contacted.

Friends and family members of the deceased will also be called to provide statements.

It was reported that four local individuals died after attending the Pinkfish concert in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, on New Year's Eve.

They are believed to have taken ecstasy.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan stated that the four, along with three others, fell unconscious after using drugs at the concert.

He revealed that investigations showed all had consumed ecstasy pills at the event.

Comm Hussein mentioned that some victims might have purchased the drugs before attending the concert, while others might have bought them there.

There are also suspicions that individuals were selling the drug at the concert.
