Senior citizen from China now missing in KL


KUALA LUMPUR: An elderly tourist from China – Xu Baolin - has been missing since visiting Suria KLCC on Sunday (Dec 8).

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said the victim's family filed a missing person report at about 11.42am on Monday (Dec 9).

"The 84-year-old was last seen at the mall's food court," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Dec 11).

Xu Baolin is 159cm tall and was staying at a residence on Jalan Kia Peng during his holiday.

Although he does not have Alzheimer's, he has difficulty hearing. He is scheduled to return to China with his family on Dec 17.

ACP Sulizmie urged anyone with information to contact the Dang Wangi police at 03-26002264, the operations room at 03-2600 2222 or the nearest police station.
