PETALING JAYA: Amidst news about a RM1mil debt, actress Rozita Che Wan has begun selling second-hand clothes live on her TikTok account.
In the live broadcast, Rozita - also known as Che Ta - promoted her own second-hand clothes as well as those of other family members.
Che Ta's appearance attracted over 20,000 viewers and received about 200,000 likes.
The live broadcast began at 9pm and was still ongoing at 12.50am on Wednesday (Dec 11).
In the comment section of the live broadcast, many social media users asked about the debt issue, but Che Ta ignored the comments and focused solely on her sales items.
She said that the sale of the clothes was intended to clear out racks in her premises and added that she has been conducting such sales on different platforms since 2016.
Previously, Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara), along with lawyers and court representatives, raided Rozita's residence in Kota Damansara following allegations that the actress had failed to settle a loan amounting to nearly RM1mil.
In addition to assessing the value, various personal items belonging to the actress, worth nearly RM100,000 were seized pending an auction expected to take place within two weeks.
