Cheras residents horrified by discovery of body stuffed in suitcase

PETALING JAYA: Residents around Taman Cheras Perdana in Cheras, Selangor, were shocked by the discovery of a black suitcase on Tuesday (Dec 10) morning, Malay language new portal Majoriti reports.

It is understood that there was a body stuffed inside the suitcase due to the foul smell it emitted.

The locked suitcase, which was also tied with a red rope, was placed by a large drain.

The foul smell, coupled with flies and small maggots surrounding the suitcase, raised suspicions among the residents.

The incident was recorded by an individual at the scene, before a 23-second recording was uploaded to X (formerly known as Twitter) on the same day.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, when contacted by Majoriti, confirmed the discovery but declined to comment further.

He said further information would be shared through an official statement by the Kajang OCPD in the near future.
