Dangerous red alert level lifted for parts of East Coast


PETALING JAYA: The danger alert level (red) for continuous torrential rain has been lifted for parts of the East Coast.

In an advisory issued by the Meteorological Department at noon on Saturday (Nov 30), a warning for severe continuous rain (orange) continue to be in place at Kelantan (Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Baru, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh and Kuala Krai) and Terengganu (Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu and Marang).

Continuous rain at alert level (yellow) warning is also forecast for Perak (Hulu Perak), Kelantan( Gua Musang) and Terengganu (Dungun and Kemaman).

The advisory is until Sunday (Dec 1).
