MetMalaysia: Severe weather expected until 6pm today in parts of peninsula, Sabah Sarawak


PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in parts of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak until 6pm on Tuesday (Nov 12).

The Meteorology Malaysia Department (MetMalaysia) issued a warning at 3pm of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in Perak (Kinta, Kampar and Batang Padang), Kelantan (Kuala Krai and Gua Musang), Terengganu (Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Dungun and Kemaman), Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, Jerantut, Kuantan and Pekan) and Johor (Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Kulai and Johor Baru).

Severe weather is also expected in Sarawak: Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Mukah, Kapit (Song), Bintulu (Tatau and Bintulu), Miri (Subis, Miri and Marudi) and Limbang as well as in Sabah: Interior and West Coast (Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu and Tuaran).
