Fire guts two cars after crash on highway in Shah Alam


SHAH ALAM: A traffic accident resulted in two cars being completely burnt.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar reported that the fire occurred on KM4.4 of the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).

"Three vehicles were involved in a car accident. Two of the cars were 100% burnt, while the third, a 4x4 vehicle, was approximately 50% burnt," he stated.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim confirmed that the vehicles have been cleared from the scene.

"One of the drivers has lodged a report at the Shah Alam traffic police station, while the others were taken to the hospital for their injuries," he added.
