PETALING JAYA: There will not be any more education subsidies for the T15 community who enrol in fully residential schools (SBP) and public institutions of higher education, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said the T15 group will face a "slight" hike in fees

"Education subsidies will be gradually reduced for the top 15% income group," he said.

Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said the SBPs were initially established to help excellent students and from poor and rural families get the best education.
