Anwar heads to Parliament to table Budget 2025


PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim left the Finance Ministry building here at 3.15pm to make his way to Parliament to table the much-awaited Budget 2025 on Friday (Oct 18).

The Finance Minister was clad in a white Baju Melayu and carried a bag containing the budget speech text.

Anwar was accompanied by Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan and Deputy Finance Minister Lim Hui Ying.

It will be the third budget presented under the Madani government led by Anwar and the final one under the 12th Malaysia Plan (2021-2025), before transitioning to the 13th Malaysia Plan for the next five years.
