PETALING JAYA: 100 bus stops across the Klang Valley will be upgraded with the collaboration of government-linked companies and private industry players, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister said RM10mil would also be allocated for the construction of new 47km-long special bus lanes crossing through Jalan Ipoh, Jalan Cheras and Jalan Gombak.
He also announced that over RM270mil would be allocated for the Stage Bus Service Transformation (SBST) programme for all major cities in every state to benefit from the programme.
“This is aimed at raising the level of safety and comfort of public bus service users across the country,” he said.
