Road in Hulu Selangor reopens after early morning landslide


PETALING JAYA: The Jalan Kuala Kubu Bahru-Gap has been reopened after a landslide.

According to the Hulu Selangor Public Works Department (JKR), they were informed of the landslide at around 4.15am on Saturday (Oct 5).

“The landslide affected some 20m of the area of the road.

“The road was reopened at 7.15am,” it said in a Facebook post on Saturday.

Parts of Selangor saw thunderstorms late on Friday (Oct 4), leading to flash floods.

Malaysia is currently in the monsoon period, which is expected to end in November.
