Bukit Aman identified 12 alleged GISB quarantine centres, says IGP

KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman has reportedly identified 12 premises suspected to be GISB quarantine centres in both Malaysia and abroad, says Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.

The Inspector-General of Police stated that investigations commenced following allegations about these centres made on the Pukas Facebook page.

"Our probe reveals that 10 centres are located in Malaysia, with two others situated in Indonesia and Turkiye.

Three of these premises were raided during Ops Global on Sept 21, while the remaining seven were found non-operational," he said on Thursday (Oct 3).

The three raided centres were located at Air Bintan in Kota Tinggi, Johor, Labu Lanjut in Sepang, Selangor, and Batu Hampar in Perak.

However, current findings do not confirm that these locations served as quarantine centres.
