Thunderstorms to hit 12 states, including KL, Labuan on Sept 23, warns MetMalaysia


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning for thunderstorms across 12 states at 5pm on Monday (Sept 23)

The affected states are Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Johor, Sarawak, Sabah, as well as the federal territories of Kuala Lumpur and Labuan. The thunderstorm is expected to last until 8pm on Monday.

MetMalaysia advised the public to stay updated with weather forecasts and warnings issued through MetMalaysia's official website, social media channels and the myCuaca mobile app.
