Motorcyclist killed in Kulai accident


KULAI: A 46-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a car at KM41 of the North-South Expressway (NSE), here.

Kulai Fire and Rescue Department operation commander Awang Ismail Awang Hanafi said that the agency received a distress call at 6.24pm on Saturday (Sept 21).

“The victim, identified as Mohamad Zuraidi Jamadi, was stuck under the vehicle due to the impact of the collision.

“The victim was removed using rescue tools; he was later pronounced dead at the scene by the medical officers from the Health Department,” he said in a statement.

Awang Ismail added that the car driver, a woman aged 34, was unharmed and managed to get out of the vehicle without any help.
