Teenage girl reported missing in Penampang


KOTA KINABALU: A 15-year-old girl has gone missing in Penampang, according to a police report filed by her aunt.

Penampang OCPD Deputy Supt Sammy Newton said the report was lodged at 12.26pm on Tuesday (Sept 10) after the girl, Nor Sahira Sakinah Abdullah, failed to return home to her house in Taman Regency.

He said the teenager, a school dropout, had been missing for 24 hours.

"The girl is staying with her aunt, who lodged a police report," said Supt Newton.

Anyone with information on her is urged to come to the nearest police station or contact investigating officer Sgt Mohamad Hizam Yusop at 011-2641 5322.
