KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan expressed thanks on the ministry's behalf to its outgoing secretary-general Datuk Seri Hasnol Zam Zam Ahmad, who is being transferred to the National Unity Ministry.
"We thank (Datuk Seri Hasnol Zam Zam) who has served us well for more than a year.
“We hope he will fully use his experience as Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry secretary-general, Perlis state secretary and also Works Ministry secretary-general for his upcoming role,” he told a press conference here on Wednesday (Sept 4).

Ahmad said Hasnol Zam Zam will assume the post of secretary-general at the National Unity Ministry from Thursday (Sept 5).
The transfer is among nine portfolio changes among secretaries-general in a high-level civil service reshuffle announced by Chief Secretary to the Government Datuk Seri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar earlier in the day.
