Official: Barisan wins Nenggiri by 3,352 vote majority, says EC

GUA MUSANG: Voters in the Nenggiri state constituency went to the polls today to cast their ballots in a straight fight between Barisan Nasional candidate Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani representing the unity government and PAS candidate Mohd Rizwadi Ismail representing Perikatan Nasional.

A total of 20,259 registered voters are eligible to vote in the by-election with the Election Commission (EC) having appointed 431 workers to ensure a smooth polling.

All polling centres in the constituency closed their doors at 6pm today, with the EC reporting the voter turnout at 71.87% as of 4pm.
