Body of missing singer found in Klang


KLANG: The body of missing singer Muhammad Nidza Afham was found below the Sungai Klang bridge in Selangor on Wednesday (Aug 14) night.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed the discovery when contacted.

He added that his family has also been notified.

Earlier, the police confirmed receiving a report about the disappearance of Nidza Afham. He left home at 7.45pm on Tuesday (Aug 13) but did not return.

South Klang District Police Chief ACP Cha Hoong Fong said the report came from the victim's brother at 4.22 am.

His brother stated that Nidza was wearing a dark blue shirt and had left the house in Bandar Puteri, Klang, using an e-hailing service to go jogging at Sultan Sulaiman Stadium.

His girlfriend traced his last location to the bridge where a family member found his wallet and other belongings.
