Jackie Chan defies ageing with black hair

SEVENTY-YEAR-OLD Jackie Chan (pic) has transformed his appearance for his upcoming film, Ride On, by dyeing his hair black, Sinchew Daily reported.

During his promotional tour in Japan, Chan, who has been wearing his hair white in recent times, was observed sporting black hair.

“Coming to Japan was challenging due to my hectic filming schedule.

“Six days ago, I was in Canada. Four days ago, I was in Los Angeles.

“I only returned to Hong Kong for a short while before coming to Japan to thank all the fans here,” he said during the event.

Chan has just completed filming a drama series, The Myth. His visit to Canada was to film Karate Kid Part II.

His previous white hair was a shock for netizens who thought Chan had aged suddenly, but that look was also for a movie about Alzheimer’s disease.

> A woman took action by swiftly grabbing the phone of a sex offender when she discovered the pervert’s attempt to take upskirt photos, China Press reported.

The woman then used social media to alert the public about the disturbing incident.

She said the incident happened at 9.10pm on June 10 at the Kinrara BK5 train station in Puchong.

“As I was walking down the elevator, I felt something touch my thigh.

“When I looked back, I saw a man wearing a black shirt,” she said in her post.

She was initially unaware of what had happened. Fortunately, a kind stranger told her about what the man was doing.

In a swift motion, she reached out to grab the man’s phone, determined to erase the incriminating photos as the stranger captured the entire confrontation on video.

“The kind stranger then accompanied me and ensured I departed safely,” she said.

“Girls who take public transportation must stay alert, especially when travelling at night.”
