IPOH: An man aged in his 60s or 70s fell three storeys from the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital here.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Najib Hamzah said the victim fell near an emergency staircase on Thursday (Sept 24) at about 2.30pm.
"Investigations found that a security guard had spotted the suspicious-looking man at the premises and followed him before he fell.
"The man, who did not have any identification documents with him, was then rushed to the emergency ward to be treated," he said in a statement.
"He is still receiving treatment and is said to be in critical condition," he added.
ACP Muhammad Najib said those with information about the individual or have lodged a missing persons' report are urged to come forward to identify the victim.
"The man was wearing a red-coloured short-sleeved T-shirt and black slacks.
"Information can be channelled to the police at 05-254 222 or any nearby police station," he said.
