Ulu Tiram police station attack: Sisters of slain cop react over brother’s death


SHAH ALAM: The sisters of one of the cops slain in an attack on the Ulu Tiram police station have taken to social media to mourn their sibling, known affectionately to them as "Tam".

Sinar Harian reported that one of the sisters thanked Konstabel Ahmad Azza Fahmi Azhar for "being a good son".

"Al-Fatihah, thank you for being a good son," said the sister, who went by the Instagram handle @i.shamimie.

Another sister, who went by the Instagram handle @azzaassyariena, wrote: "Amiiii, you made us sad. Why did you go?" and shared a black and white video clip of the late constable with family members.

The constable, along with Konstabel Muhamad Syafiq Ahmad Said, was killed during an attack by an assailant at the police station at 2.45am on Friday (May 17). Another cop, Koperal Mohd Hasif Roslan, was injured.

The intruder, who was also killed in the attack, is believed to be linked to Jemaah Islamiah.
