Ulu Tiram police station attack: Injured cop moved to normal ward at JB's Hospital Sultan Ismail


JOHOR BARU: The policeman who was injured in an early morning attack at the Ulu Tiram police station has been moved to a normal ward at Hospital Sultan Ismail (HSI) here.

It is learnt that the policeman was earlier treated at HSI's red zone after he was shot in the incident.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain has also visited the injured victim and spent a few minutes talking to him.

He also visited the mortuary where the bodies of the two slain police constables have been sent for post-mortem.

Also present was Johor police chief Comm M. Kumar.

It was earlier reported that two policemen died while another was injured in an attack by a man who intruded into the Ulu Tiram police station early Friday (May 17) morning.

Comm Kumar said that in the incident earlier this morning, the suspect was also shot dead at the scene.
