Motorcyclist killed after crashing into wild boar carcasses

KUALA PILAH: A 42-year-old company supervisor was killed after he crashed his motorcycle into several dead wild boars on the road.

Afmarzairy Bakhtiar Apandi was heading to Bahau from Senawang for work when the accident happened at around 6.30am on Friday (May 17) at KM15 of Jalan Seremban-Kuala Pilah near Ulu Bendul.

Acting district police chief Asst Supt Norazuan Said said several wild boar carcasses were on the stretch after they were believed to have been run over by other vehicles.

"The deceased lost control of his bike following the impact and crashed. He died on the spot due to severe head injuries," he said.

ASP Norazuan said the deceased's remains were taken to the Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital for post-mortem.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving causing death.

A relative of the deceased, Azru Zarizie A Zaharin, 42, said he was survived by a wife and four children aged between eight and 15.
