KUALA LUMPUR: Individuals who resort to defamation are advised to stop the practice as it damages societal mindsets.

Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, who is Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's political secretary, said the months of Ramadan and Syawal should be filled with good deeds and attitudes, adding that Islam is about mercy and rejects defamation.
