Bersatu appoints new disciplinary board, election committee chiefs

PUTRAJAYA: Bersatu has made two new appointments to lead its disciplinary board and election committee.

Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin said the appointments would take effect immediately.

"Datuk Mohammed Radzi Manan is the new party disciplinary board chairman while Datuk Seri Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi is the new party election committee," he said in a statement on Sunday (April 7).

Mohammed Radzi was a former Perak Umno chief while Abdul Azim was a former Umno treasurer.

Hamzah said the party believes that the duo, with their experience and commitment, would be able to strengthen the party through proactive, continuous efforts and empower party members' discipline.
