Satisfaction comes from helping constituents, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: Satisfaction comes from helping the rakyat, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

In a post on his Facebook on Wednesday (April 3), the Ayer Hitam MP said he is satisfied that he could help the community with the construction of a local surau.

“In November 2022, I attended the ground breaking ceremony, now Surau Al-Hidayah has started to receive congregations. The only thing left is the construction of the ceiling. I will definitely help,” said the MCA president.

Dr Wee was informed by members of the surau committee that more and more people have been coming to the surau because of the strategic location.

In November last year, Dr Wee said in a Facebook post that the building of mosques and surau in the constituency has been a priority ever since he became the Ayer Hitam elected representative.

He said in the post that he would immediately approve applications from the community, as he is aware that the construction of mosques and surau are very important for Muslims.
