A 71-YEAR-OLD woman in Taiwan enlisted the help of three men to chop off her nephew’s pinkie with a samurai sword for not settling his debts to her, Sin Chew Daily reported.
The nephew owed his aunt NT$30,000 (RM4,439) but showed no indication that he would pay her back.
On March 16, the aunt visited him at his home to reason with him but her 45-year-old nephew refused to cough up the cash.
Furious, she left but returned later with three armed men.One of the men, whose surname is Zhang, attempted to scare the nephew by drawing a samurai sword. They cut off the nephew’s left pinkie as a warning before leaving the house.
Even the borrower’s mother was slashed when she tried to shield her son from the attack.
The Chiaohsi township police later arrested all four suspects.

Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei claimed that he wanted to settle the score with his ex-wife when he attempted to get to her home on the night of March 22, which would have been their 13th wedding anniversary, Sin Chew Daily reported. However, Wang returned to the apartment once more and this time, he wanted to see his children.
Police officers were called in.
As Wang, 42, exited the police station later, he told journalists that he had made a police report about Hsu’s alleged drug abuse.
He also made other accusations against Hsu.
Police said, however, that Wang did not make any report nor provide any evidence against Hsu.Wang and Hsu divorced in 2021 after 10 years of marriage.
They have two children aged eight and 10.
Four months after the divorce, Hsu married South Korean artiste Koo Jun-yup.
