60-year old motorcyclist dies in accident on Pasir Gudang Highway


PASIR GUDANG: A 60-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed at KM21.6 on the Pasir Gudang Highway here.

Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said the incident occurred at 10pm on Tuesday (March 19) when the victim was heading towards Pasir Gudang from Johor Baru.

“The victim was heading straight into the third lane of the highway before he suddenly lost control of his motorcycle and fell on the road.

“The victim was later pronounced dead at the location by the medical team,” he said in a statement here on Wednesday (March 20).

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road and Transport Act.
