Perlis achieves zero gaming outlet agenda

KANGAR: The Perlis government has achieved its agenda of having zero gambling premises following the closure of the last gaming outlet in the state last Wednesday (March 6).

Housing, Local Government, Human Resources Development, and Poverty Eradication Committee chairman Asrul Aimran Abd Jalil said that previously, there were six gaming outlets in the state, of which four had already been closed last year, while the fifth premises ceased operations on Jan 31.
