Another 6,000 medical officers to be appointed to permanent posts in 2024-2025


KUALA LUMPUR: The government will be appointing another 6,000 medical officers to permanent positions throughout 2024 and 2025, the Dewan Rakyat was told on Wednesday.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said, that between 2019 and 2023, the government had already appointed a total of 9,822 medical officers to permanent positions.
