Kelantan MMEA nabs 23 Vietnamese fishermen, seizes two vessels


PASIR PUTEH: Kelantan Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) arrested 23 Vietnamese fishermen and seized two fishing vessels with a total value of RM3mi in an operation conducted on Thursday (Feb 22).

Its director Maritime Captain Erwan Shah Soahdi said that the two boats were seized between 126 and 128 nautical miles off the Tok Bali estuary after being spotted at 7.22am during an operation along the Malaysia-Vietnam maritime borders.
