Tourism minister has authority to appoint, terminate Tourism Malaysia DG, says KSN



KUALA TERENGGANU, 1 Okt -- Ketua Setiausaha Negara Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali (kiri) berucap pada perasmian Kompleks Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) Terengganu di Bukit Besar hari ini.
Kompleks SPRM yang dibina di atas tanah seluas 3.41 hektar mula beroperasi pada 15 Julai 2019 dengan kos RM38 juta.
Kompleks yang mempunyai tiga blok turut dilengkapi dengan kemudahan bilik rakaman percakapan saksi, bilik video interviewing room (VIR), lokap, bilik gerakan operasi (BGOS), dewan seminar, gudang sita dan bilik kawad cam.

KUALA SELANGOR: Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN) Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali (pic) has clarified that the authority to appoint and terminate the services of the Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board (Tourism Malaysia) director-general Datuk Dr Ammar Abd Ghapar, rests with the Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister.

He explained that this matter was clearly outlined in the Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board Act 1992 (Act 481).
