Sultan Nazrin becomes Deputy YDPA for the third time

IPOH: Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah took the oath of office for the third time as the Deputy King of Malaysia, a role the Ruler has performed with distinction since 2016.

During the 263rd (Special) Meeting of the Conference of Rulers in October last year, Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar was elected as the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, while Sultan Nazrin was re-elected as the Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong for a fresh five-year term starting yesterday.
