A PHOTOGRAPHER inadvertently flashed the world after a photo of a leather jacket which was uploaded to an online shop contained a reflection of him in the nude, reported China Press.
The leather jacket in the photo, which was found on Chinese fast fashion retailer Shein’s website, had a reflective silver button on the collar.
Without realising that the reflection of his naked body was captured on camera, the photographer sent the product photo to the Shein team and it ended up on its website.
The accidental nudity was first spotted by Internet users in Japan who uploaded it on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
It has since garnered more than 6.8 million views online.
Users commented on the carelessness of both the photographer and the retailer.
“The fashion company isn’t even as diligent at checking out its product photos as Internet users,” one of them wrote.
> A construction worker in China, who went viral online in 2023 for his piano-playing skills, will have his dream come true after his idol, Chinese pianist Lang Lang, agreed to meet him, reported China Press.
The 52-year-old Yi Qunlin blew up online after a video of him dressed in a high-visibility jacket and a hard hat playing several tunes on the piano went viral.
It all happened one summer day last year when Yi and his son noticed a public piano by a subway station in Shenzhen, China.
Urged on by his son, Yi played a dozen songs on the instrument.
His performance soon became widely shared on social media.
He caught the attention of state broadcaster CCTV, which invited him to attend the New Year’s Gala in February.
“I am just an old farmer. I never ever dreamt of such a highlight in life,” he said after reading the invitation letter from CCTV.
When interviewed, Yi said his wish was to have Lang Lang himself tutor him.
The classical pianist responded to the request on Weibo on Jan 21.
“Brother Yi, after watching your video, I admire your spirit and the love you have for life.
“Thank you for your support! Can’t wait to meet you!” Lang Lang wrote.
It was reported that Yi learnt to play the instrument during his childhood and still remembered the musical pieces he had practised in the past.
Even though his hands were calloused from years of dishwashing, assembling toys and holding a shovel, they were nimble and deft enough for him to showcase his skills.
