Floods: Over 28,000 evacuees at 137 relief centres in five states

KUALA LUMPUR: The number of flood evacuees housed at 137 relief centres in five states rose to 28,032 on Thursday (Dec 28) morning from 25,763 the night before.

The latest report issued by the National Disaster Management Agency's command centre showed that Kelantan still had the highest number of evacuees: 21,377 at 68 relief centres in five districts, up from 19,423 at 8pm Wednesday (Dec 27).
