KUALA LUMPUR: The MediAsas insurance scheme, which is set to be launched in January 2027, will act as a financial and healthcare safety net for the middle-income group (M40), amid rising medical costs.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said the plan would provide protection to the M40 group through transparent cost control and without hidden or excessive charges.
