Five more detained in Sungai Choh murder

GOMBAK: Five more suspects linked to the body of a man found buried behind a house in Sungai Choh have been arrested.

Three men and two women, aged 19 to 45, were arrested on Dec 24 at the Desa Aman Puri apartment, Alam Jaya Industrial Centre and Sungai Choh. They have been remanded for seven days.

A total of eight people have now been arrested in this murder case.

Investigations have also determined that the victim's girlfriend was not involved in the case.

Investigations are also underway to verify a supposed nude photo or video that apparently started the commotion.

Acting Gombak OCPD Supt Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir confirmed the arrest when contacted.

On Saturday (Dec 23), a 27-year-old complainant told police she had overheard an argument at her neighbour's house in Sungai Choh, Rawang.

Then, later in the day, she overheard a conversation between her husband and the neighbour's brother-in-law, where they talked about helping bury a dead body.

Investigations at the scene in Sungai Choh led to the discovery of a male body that was buried nearby.
